I’ve got big plans for this Halcyon Aliens Power Loader kit. The kit itself is pretty good, and looks the part, but needs some extra attention to make it stand out. I’ve purchased RB Motion‘s incredible fittings to connect the myriad hydraulic lines. I’m still undecided as to whether the vinyl tubing supplied in the kit is up to the task. The big thing this kit needs though, is some life. The pose is terribly static out of the box, so I’ve elected to cut up the arms so they can be repositioned into something a little more dynamic. The figure that comes with the kit is a bit anemic, and will probably go under the knife too. I think a diorama will be the order of the day to best display the finished kit. Maybe the loading dock on board Sulaco?
