Ken has been building models all his life. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that his Dad opened a hobby shop in 1966, when he was 6 years old.
While studying in the Theatre Department at The University at Buffalo, Ken worked on a great number of on- and off-campus productions designing and building props and sets, lighting, sound (and a bit of acting).
In the 1980's Ken had the opportunity to turn his passion into a job. He was hired to build architectural subjects at Carolina Architectural Models in Raleigh, NC, later known as Scale Model and Display Studios.
Some years later, while working for Tri-Star Design Group, he did plastics fabrication and design, leading to some of the most challenging subjects of his career, including props and scenery for the motion picture industry.
